Aqua Fitness Leader

Learn how to use the water as a training tool, design classes that are both functional and fun.

Exercise Theory

Learn the basic principles of human anatomy and physiology all on an easy to use online platform.

Group Fitness Leader

Learn how to teach in a group environment & learn the fundamental principles of group training.

Indoor Cycling Leader

Get certified in the group fitness industry’s most respected and progressive disciplines with the FNB Indoor Cycling Certification

Older Adult Fitness Leader

OAFL is designed for exercise instructors to deliver safe, effective, exercise programs for older adults.

Personal Training

The Personal Training Certification educates fitness professionals using an individualized approach.

Maintaining Certifications

As part of the ongoing certification process, Fitness New Brunswick (FNB) requires all leaders maintain their certification through Continued Education Credits (CECs). This ensures that fitness professionals remain up to date on current trends, in addition to providing continuous learning and development as coaches. 18 CECs for Personal Trainers and 12 CECs for Group Fitness Leaders bi-annually.

Foundations of Fitness & Exercise Physiology


On February 8 & 9, join us live online for the Foundations in Exercise Theory course. This course is designed to be versatile and valuable for everyone in the fitness industry.

Live Long & Live Strong: Movement Essentials for Longevity

Join us live online on January 25th & March 15th for a workshop that is designed to enhance functional fitness, improve posture, and build strength through targeted exercises that support mobility and stability at every stage of life.

In the first session, you will explore essential movement patterns that build the core. The second session you will learn the essential movement patterns that stabilize the lower body and exercises that are needed to strengthen the upper body.

Body Balance Workshop

In this Body Balance Body Workshop, we will incorporate Stability and Bender Balls into cardiovascular, full-body toning and flexibility training. For those who also enjoy a core challenge, this class delivers!

Kettlebell Essentials


In this Live Online Kettlebell Essentials workshop, participants will learn how to coach and deliver fundamental kettlebell movements such as swings, cleans, snatches, squat, and more.

The kettlebell is a versatile tool that is proven to enhance strength and conditioning. Ideal for a group fitness setting or 1/1 training.

This kettlebell course is predominantly practical, and coaches will need to demonstrate their competency with the bell to receive successful completion.

We went live with this online workshop early this year. We now have it recorded and on our online learning platform for you to learn about how corrective exercises that will help you and your clients with muscle imbalances in the body to improve posture and joint dysfunction.

Measure Balance Intensity: Why & How? (ONLINE)

The aim of this workshop is to provide fitness professionals with the knowledge that balanced activities are important to maintain functional abilities and independence as one ages.

However, research shows that balance needs to be challenged. As a fitness instructor, how do you know if you challenge your clients? How do you adapt as clients get more comfortable? How do you offer modifications?

This online workshop has a one hour video and a quiz for you to gain Continuing Education Credits (CEC's).
