Course Information: This is the first part of a two weekend course and teaches the basic principles of how to design exercise programs to help clients achieve their personal fitness goals.

Pre-Requisites: Exercise Theory, Resistance Training Leader Specialty Certification.

Times: Friday – 6:00 to 9:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Price: $575.00 Includes course fee, practical evaluation and HST

Registration Deadline: Thursday, April 2, 2020

Cancellation Information: A $60.00 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received on or prior to April 12, 2020. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after April 2, 2020.

Written examination: There is a comprehensive exam at the end of the course. It is highly recommended to adequately prepare that you register on or before the deadline.
Please Note: Participants have the option to make arrangements through the FNB office to write the exam at a later date at a cost of $75.00

PFT Practical Evaluation: All FNB Certifications require a practical evaluation within 6 months following the successful completion of the specialty course including the written exam.
In some cases a PFT candidate may have prior knowledge and experience in the specialty content. If this is the case a practical evaluation may be completed during the weekend two outside of the course hours and at the discretion and recommendation of the course conductor.

Post-Course Evaluations: The cost for this evaluation is included in your course fee and is valid up to 6 months after the course completion. Any evaluations booked after the 6 month deadline will cost a late fee of $20.00. Evaluations beyond 12 months following the course will cost the full evaluation fee ($60.00 for onsite, $70.00 electronic)

Booking your evaluation post course: The PFT evaluation involves preparation of a program developed from a scenario supplied by FNB. The evaluation must be booked and confirmed through the FNB office two weeks ahead of time to ensure enough time to prepare and secure your evaluator.
